NORDUNET '91 conference, SAS Royal Hotel, Bergen, Norway.
NORDUNET '91, the 12th Nordic Conference on University Networks,will be held at SAS Royal Hotel in Bergen on October 21st to 23rd 1991.
The conference will start on Monday at lunch time and end Wedensday after lunch.
The NORDUNET`91 conference is a Nordic Networkshop where the status and trends in Nordic and international networking will be discussed.
The conference also contains highlights from current high-speed networking projects and operation of workstations in a wide-area network.

Through a link to the Norwegian network UNINETT there will be stablished a local-area network, offering different workstations and terminals to the participants for home login etc.
THE CONFERENCE SITE
SAS Royal Hotel on Bryggen (The Hanseatic Wharf) is one of the most distinctive hotels in Norway, where thousand-year-old building traditions are combined with modern architechture. The Wharf, known world-wide as the only wooden township dating back to the Middle Ages which is still standing today, is located centrally in Bergen city.
Week-end offer for early arriving participants will be available.
As participants will be accomodated in single rooms which can also be used as double rooms, it is possible to accomodate accompanying persons. Please contact the conference secretariat for further information.
Bergen airport, Flesland has daily connections to Oslo, Copenhagen, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Paris and London, and should be reachable from most European cities the same day as the congress starts.
A 30 minute bus-trip will bring you directly to the SAS Royal Hotel.
Bergen, the city situated amidst the seven mountains, is the capital of western Norway and the gate to the norwegian fjords. Within short range of the conference site, many historical buildings, art galleries and museums are found. During a stay in Bergen one should visit nothern Europe's main public aquaria, the fishmarket and take a ride to MountFloien with the famous funicular which offers a magnificent view over the city and it's surroundings.
The registration fee which is also an accomodation package, covers:

LATE Registration Fee: NOK 3.800
The early registration fee applies to all fees received before September 15th. Accomodation cannot be guaranteed if the registration form is received after September 15th.
No registration fees can be refunded in respect of cancellations received by us, within September 21st.
