The Copenhagen office of NORDUnet is located at walking distance from Copenhagen Airport and with access to Copenhagen city centre by metro, making it a popular venue for community meetings and events.

Take the motorway E20 towards Copenhagen airport / Sweden, then take exist 16 (Lufthavn Ø).
NORDUnet is only a few minutes from the exit. Follow Amager Strandvej and turn left
through the portal towards Amagerstrand. ref the illustration above.
There are guest parking available. A parking permit can be retrieved at the reception located
inside the main entrance (Building A).

  • You will arrive at Copenhagen Airport, terminals 2&3, from where, it’s just a short walk:
    Walk to the “narrow” end of the arrivals hall, take the left exit from the terminal
    building,
  • Walk 15 minutes (1.2 km)
  • Use the walkway bridge to cross the railroad and motorway.
  • You are now on Kastruplundsgade follow the road for 200 meters
  • Turn right on Skøjtevej, follow the road about 300 meters and
  • Turn left on Amager Strandvej.
  • Walk 100 meters to reach the portal in to Amagerstrand and the NORDUnet office.

  • Main entrance (Building A) is to the left where you will find the reception.

    Alternatives to walking are 1 stop with metro M2 + 6 minutes (450 m) walk
    or 2 stops by bus 5C + 2 minutes (210 m) walk

From the airport take the Metro M2 direction “Vanløse” (all metros are the same from the airport)and get off at the first stop – “Kastrup”

From the City Centre (KGS Nytorv) take the Metro M2 direction “Lufthavnen” (airport) and get off at “Kastrup”. The ride is appr. 12 minutes.

  • Walk up the stairs towards Alleen (east), turn right and walk 200 meters towards the
    water.
  • Turn right on Amager Strandvej.
  • Walk 100 meters to reach the portal in to Amagerstrand and the NORDUnet office. ref. the illustration above.
  • Main entrance (Building A) is to the left where you will find the reception.

Take the airport train from the Central Railway Station, Nørreport, or other station, and get off at the Copenhagen Airport. Use the instructions above to find the office from the airport.

The ride from Central Railway Station to Copenhagen Airport is 12 minutes

By bus from Copenhagen Central Station

Take bus 5C from Copenhagen Central Station (Hovedbanegården) towards Copenhagen Airport and get off at Den Blå Planet (Amager Strandvej). From there, it’s a 2–3 minute walk to the NORDUnet office entrance at Amager Strandvej 390.

By bus from Copenhagen Airport

Take bus 5C from Copenhagen Airport towards the city centre and get off at Den Blå Planet (Amager Strandvej). The NORDUnet office is just a 2–3 minute walk away.

A taxi from city center is about 250 DKK, and will take 15-30 minutes, depending on traffic

You will arrive at Aalborg  Airport from where you can:

  • Take bus 12, 70, 71, or 200 to Aalborg Bus terminal
  • Take the airport train to Aalborg station.
  • Take a taxi (expect to pay about 20€).

The main train station is Aalborg is Aalborg Station. The main exit from the station is on John F. Kennedys Plads. From the exit, the NORDUnet office is in the red office bulding on the right of the square, a couple of minutes walk away.

Aalborg is not a large city. Most places – including from the airport to NORDUnet – can be reached for 20-30€. The phone number for Dantaxi Aalborg is +45 4848 4848.

Many bus lines in Aalborg – including busses from the airport and the university – end at or pass Aalborg Bus Terminal. The bus terminal is right behind the office building where NORDUnet is located.
