A very successful NORDUnet 2024 conference is now behind us. We should like to once again thank everyone who contributed to making the meeting in Bergen a meorable event – speakers, organisers, participants, and not the least our host from Norwegian NREN Sikt.

If like us you are feeling a bit of post-conference blues, do not worry. In the closing plenary, Sikt passed the baton (or, in this case, the NORDUnet banner) to Swedish NREN Sunet. Sunet will be our host for the 33rd NORDUnet conference, to take place in Luleå,  Sweeden,  8-10 September 2026. Just like this year, NORDUnet 2026 will be the meeting place of the Nordic NREN community, with talks covering current and developing topics, infrastructure updates and applications in research and educaiton, and will feature a welcoming environment and social programme, with ample space and time to engage with your peers.

The program will develop in due time; watch this space. We look forward to seeing our friends, partners, and stakeholders once again in Luleå.

But wait – you’re maybe thinking “2026 it long time away”. Do not despair. Next year, in Copenhagen in Septmber 2025, we will return to the Nordic Community Workshop, and intimate, community and collaboration focused event co-hosting a series of topics workshop in a single venue. We look forward to your active participation.
