Springtime for Sunet

Springtime for Sunet

The brand “Sunetdagarna” was well-known pre-COVID in the Nordic research and education community as a buffet of seminars organized by Swedish NREN Sunet each spring. Following a few years online, the event is back in its original physical format.

In line with tradition the  main target group is employees of the institutions connected to Sunet and individuals with a similar professional interest in the network.

As always, the event will provide a broad picture of the many activities of a research and education network. Still, digital transformation of education is given special emphasis, not least through several presentations from this year’s host institution, Mälardalens University. Under headlines such as “the digital campus”, “the student’s digital journey project”, “open digital resources for learning”, and “digital teaching skills”, recent developments in digital educational tools and experiences will be provided.

NORDUnet CEO Valter Nordh will be a featured speaker in the welcome session Tuesday where he will give a presentation on NORDUnet.

Sunetdagarna 2023 are held at Mälardalens University, Campus Eskilstuna, 18-20 April 2023.

More details in the full program (in Swedish).
