In line with tradition the Nordics appear in the TNC programme. One of the keynotes will be delivered by associate professor in Interaction Technologies at Aarhus University, Denmark, Martin Brynskov. Brynskov is a Smart City and Internet of Things expert, among other things coordinating the European IoT Smart City Large Scale Pilot “SynchroniCity”, and the IoT Smart City Experimentation-as-a-Service facility “OrganiCity”.
Tuesday 16:00-17:30 the Networking For Clouds session features Lars Fischer from NORDUnet presenting the current state of networking for cloud services and addressing future challenges. For more detailed information look here
Likewise on Tuesday 16:00-17:30 during the Identity LEGO session, Andreas Åkre Solberg, UNINETT, will present Dataporten, an API platform for higher education. On Wednesday 16:00 to 17:30 in the Cloud on the Ground session Hildegunn Vada from UNINETT presents the Norwegian cloud initiative UH-Sky, aiming to establish a national cloud solution for higher education. In the same session, Lars Fuglevaag, UNINETT, gives an overview over a Pan-European tender for IaaS services, conducted by 36 NRENs and allowing 10,000 research and education institutions access to a range of services provided by 23 different vendors. Furthermore, two BoFs have Nordic representation. The BoF ”How to use the “In The Field” platform to engage with users, funders and key influencers” is scheduled for Tuesday 09:00 – 10:30. The ”Cloud Café” BoF, organized among others by Lars Fuglevaag, UNINETT, takes place Wednesday 18:00-20:00.
