In memory of Jacqueline Brown

In memory of Jacqueline Brown

NORDUnet is saddened to learn about the passing of Jacqueline Brown.

Jacqueline made an enormous contribution to the global research network community for decades. Jacqueline was a stellar organiser and coordinator, a mentor for many who are now leaders in the community, and a good friend to many more.

For close to 20 years NORDUnet was fortunate to have Jacqueline in our conference team.  She was instrumental in shaping the NORDUnet conference into what it is today. Jacqueline’s insights and breadth of global contacts, her dedication, and her firm but gentle hand in organising have been invaluable.

The 2022 NORDUnet conference would be Jacqueline’s last. We will miss her warmth and kindness, and we are forever grateful for having had the luck to work with her all those years. Our thoughts are with her family.
