Ane Juul Mathiasen joins NORDUnet as Chief Operating Officer

Ane Juul Mathiasen joins NORDUnet as Chief Operating Officer starting 1 September 2026.

Ane will lead the internal operations and development of the NORDUnet organisation, drive project and service delivery in collaboration with the NORDUnet engineering and strategic engagement teams, drive the implementation of the NORDUnet strategy process, and ensure support for governance and leadership functions.

Ane comes from a strong background as program manager in the telecoms and tech sectors. She will bring a wealth of experience in organisational culture development to the technically focused NORDUnet team. We’re excited to have Ane join our journey in delivering a world-class technology platform for the knowledge sector.

NORDUnet’s leadership team is now comprised of CEO Valter Nordh, CFO Lone Heimdal Nilsson, CTO Jørgen Qvist, COO Ane Juul Mathiasen and CSO Thomas Frøyland
