The 32nd NORDUnet conference has now ended and we would like to thank everybody for your active participation and engagement. Both in the conference rooms, during lunch and coffee breaks, and the social events.
We wish you safe travels back and look forward to seeing you for the next conference in Sweden in 2026
Dinner will take place at Fløien restaurant, and it is fully booked.
The restaurant is a two-storey building. To help everybody – and especially those on the late funicular – to find a seat easily, please come by the Registration desk during the afternoon before 17:00 and get a note indicating in which floor you will be seated. The top floor (2 floor) seats 132 people and the ground floor (called 1 floor) seats 140 people. If you have registered an accompanying partner, please pick up a note for them.
To facilitate a smooth service, we have agreed with the Restaurant on a colour code system to address allergies and special diets.
When you pick up your floor number, please also make sure that you get a coloured note as follows
Dark Green for vegan option
Light Green for vegetarian option
Blue for pescetarian (if you have indicated that you do not eat red meet/beef, the restaurant has added you to the pescetarian diet)
Orange for Gluten allergy
Light grey for lactose allergy
Brownish for any other allergy/diet.
Please write your special allergy on the note and hand it to the waiter that comes by your table during dinner.
Transportation to the dinner will be via “Fløibanen” – the funicular. It is a 8-10-minute walk from the conference venue https://maps.app.goo.gl/jguaeAMcfjZ5qKqq8
Return tickets to the restaurants are available via the link in your email. Please note that you should only use the QR code that you see when you click the link when you are about to go on the funicular as the code updates at regular intervals. Tickets are linked to dinner participation.

This 32nd edition will take place on 10th-12th September, 2024 in Bergen, Norway where Norwegian NREN Sikt together with NORDUnet will welcome everybody with a vested interest in the research and education community.
In line with the long-established way of shaping the conference there will be plenary sessions with compelling keynote speakers, parallel sessions that cover some of the most recent and relevant topics, ample room for hallway conversations, not forgetting the social networking events such as the opening reception and the dinner.
Participation continues to be both relevant to NREN and Campus staff, including researchers and scientists from all areas.
We will meet up at the Radisson Blu Hotel at Bryggen in Bergen where the event will unfold.
Participation in side meetings is free for paying participants who have registered for the full conference.
