Bergen in September can be both wet and sunny A raincoat or a good umbrella may come in handy, but you should not forget your sunglasses either.

Social events
Tuesday will host the conference reception which will take place at Bergen University for the usual welcome drink and networking. After that the evening is available to participants to explore Bergen with colleagues and friends.
Wednesday is official dinner day and will take place at “Fløien”. A newly renovated restaurant overlooking the city of Bergen with a magnificent view. We will go there via Fløibanen, a funicular railway that runs from the centre of Bergen to Fløyen (320 m above sea level).

Transfer to/from the airport
Public transportation to/from Bergen airport includes a “light rail” which will take you directly to downtown Bergen. Final stop “Byparken” is 15 min walk from Radisson Blu.
Taxis are also available. Please bear in mind that during rush hours public transportation is often faster.
