NORDUnet welcomes Steve Cotter as CEO of GÉANT

NORDUnet welcomes Steve Cotter as the new CEO of GÉANT Association; the transition to a unified top management for the pan-European research and education networking association is a major step forward in the long process of merging TERENA and DANTE into a single organization, serving equally as the home of European R&E networking community efforts and operator of a pan-European service portfolio.

With past experience from Internet2, ESnet, Google, and most recently REANNZ, Steve Cotter has crucial experience from both R&E and commercial networking, and has the global experience needed to facilitate consensus and create synergy in European R&E networking, and foster leadership of European e-Infrastructures.  We look forward to working with Steve and his team in Amsterdam and Cambridge.

Read about Steve Cotter and his new role in the recent issue of GÉANT CONNECT magazine.
