NORDUnet together with the Swedish Polar Research Secretariat and Vetenskapsrådet/Sunet invites you to a webinar to explore science opportunities on Polar Connect. During the webinar will present and discuss opportunities for scientific data collection along the route of Polar Connect with a focus on the seas between the Nordics and Svalbard. This is an excellent opportunity to engage in and shape future sensing efforts on Polar Connect.

The goal of Polar Connect is to build a submarine communication cable system between Northern Europe and East Asia, equipped with environmental sensing technology. Polar Connect will enable novel Arctic Research Infrastructure and provide access to unprecedented data from the deep Ocean.

Agenda and additional information.

The webinar is organized under EU CEF Digital co-funded 22-EU-DIG-NPF North Pole Fiber project.
