Roar Olsen new CEO of UNINETT

Roar Olsen will replace Petter Kongshaug as CEO of UNINETT. Roar Olsen comes from a position as director at the Norwegian Health Network, and was previously Director of Strategy at The Norwegian Directorate of eHealth.

Petter Kongshaug, who has headed UNINETT since the NREN was founded in 1993,  will step down by 1 September 2017.

NORDUnet welcomes Roar Olsen to the Nordic NREN community. We look forward to the continued evolution of UNINETT as a leading European NREN and a driver of Nordic R&E networking collaboration.
