The spring 2025 version of the traditional gathering Sunetdagarna (Sunet Days) is taking place in May in Luleå.
This year, the program includes not only sessions divided into four exciting tracks but also keynotes on AI and our solar system. Over the course of several days, participants explore the most pressing topics in the academic digital landscape – from identity management and cybersecurity to sustainable data centres and the future of collaborative research platforms.
“It’s where the sector comes together to share ideas, learn from each other, get acquainted with new developments in Sunet services, and get inspired about the future,” says Maria Häll, CEO at Sunet.
As Sunet celebrates its 40-year anniversary this year, Sunetdagarna will also highlight their historical milestones, including connecting Swedish universities to the global network in the 1980s, pioneering early research networks, and playing a key role in the development of internet infrastructure that helped shape Sweden’s digital landscape.
Sunetdagarna Spring 2025 are held at Luleå Technical University, 6-8 May 2025. Participation is free of charge. The main target group is employees of the institutions connected to Sunet or people with a similar professional interest in the network.
