Sweden’s NREN offers a week of online inspiration

Sunet, the NREN of Sweden, invites its community for an all-online autumn 2024 version of its traditional gathering, “Sunetdagarna”. Participants can pick and choose from an extensive program covering the full week of November 4-8.

The event kicks off with a keynote presentation on quantum technology, and its implications for computing, encryption, and Machine Learning. Participants will also get insights into a range of developments in Sunet’s network and services.

Another highly relevant topic on the agenda is crisis management. A full session dedicated to crisis management. What happens in case of a major cyber-attack, and how can we prepare ourselves in advance through exercises? This is nicely accompanied by a session on Digital Open Badges 3.0 which is a solution for verification of academic credentials across countries and institutions.

You will find the full program (in Swedish) here

The main target group is employees of the institutions connected to Sunet or people with a similar professional interest in the network.

Sunetdagarna Autumn 2024 take place on 4-8 November, you can join via this link https://sunet.zoom.us/my/sunet

No admission fee is charged, and registration is not required.
