Join the NORDUnet Webinar on Polar Connectivity

On Wednesday 5 October, 2022 at 10:00 am – 11.30 am CEST NORDUnet will host a webinar on the economic value of submarine cables in the Arctic, and associated topics relating to fiber connectivity between Japan and the EU

See the full invitation for more information, and register now to join the event.

The webinar is a 90-minute on-line event for everybody who has an interest in international connectivity, the impact on regional development, and the green agenda for data centers.

In June of this year, Copenhagen Economics published the report The Economic Value of Submarine Cables in the Arctic , and more recently NORDUnet published a short video on the 2030 vision for Polar Connect.

In the webinar you will discover how direct sub-sea fiber connectivity from the EU to Japan and Asia through the Artic region will add redundancy and mitigate existing risks with the current EU- Asia connectivity, and you will get the opportunity to explore  the societal and economic impact of fiber connectivity and data centers in the Artic and the Nordic region at large, including the energy impact.

Please join us on 5 October for an exciting webinar on polar connectivity.
