Danish NREN conference back on track

Danish NREN conference back on track

“Providing digital solutions in a changing world” will be the overall theme, as Danish NREN DeiC invites its stakeholders to a physical conference November 3-4.

One of the global changes implied by the theme headline is of course the COVID-19 pandemic, which caused the 2020 version of the traditional annual DeiC conference to be cancelled.

The 2021 conference will have four main tracks: Data management. High-performance computing (HPC) and eScience. Security of information. Networks and services.

Among the topics covered by presentations will be EuroHPC, the supercomputer LUMI, HPC success stories, FAIR, EOSC, hacking, the current cybersecurity situation, and media services.

On November 3, NORDUnet CEO René Buch will update participants on international network developments under the headline “Common network operations, a cable connection across the North Pole and other international trends”.

The DeiC conference 2021 is held at the Vingsted Hotel and Conference Center in Bredsten. Full program and participation here.
