NORDUnet at PTC’26: Engaging global partners on future connectivity

NORDUnet is pleased to participate in PTC’26, the annual conference of the Pacific Telecommunications Council (PTC), taking place in Hawaii this week. PTC brings together a broad international community of stakeholders across the global telecommunications ecosystem, and its annual meeting is an important forum for dialogue on the evolution of regional and global connectivity, digital infrastructure, and the technologies that underpin them.

At PTC’26, NORDUnet’s primary focus is Polar Connect. The conference provides a valuable opportunity to engage with partners, policymakers, infrastructure providers, and other stakeholders from around the world, and to present Polar Connect to a global audience. Through a series of targeted meetings and discussions, we will explore shared interests, partnership opportunities, and the role of trusted international collaboration in strengthening global connectivity.

NORDUnet COO Jørgen Qvist, together with our Polar Connect partners, has already scheduled a number of meetings and conversations during the conference, supported by dedicated meeting space. Jørgen will also contribute to the conference programme and related workshops.

If you are attending PTC’26 and are interested in Polar Connect or in discussing future collaboration, we welcome the opportunity to connect and continue the conversation.
